About Lykos
Kos is one of six puppies from the Ruuq x Darwin (Hawthorne Astrila x J&J Devil of Piru) litter at Hawthorne Tamaskan. She was born Feb. 5th 2017. She has developed into a very brave and friendly girl. Lykos enjoys swimming, digging and being mischievous. She requires a decent amount of exercise and mental stimulation, as most Tamaskans do. She is initially reserved around new men, but never aggressive and warms up to them quickly. She loves all women and children as well as all other dogs. She is not a lap dog, but is keen on being within arms reach or at our feet when relaxing. Her prey drive is rather high, having a large amount of husky in her. She has been known to chase squirrels up trees, catch birds mid air, dig up moles and chase after deer. However, her recall is excellent and she will always come when asked, even if chasing after something tasty. She gets along well with the cats she was raised with, but any others are fair game in her eyes.
Lykos is approximately 24in at the shoulder and is approximately 57lbs. She is on the smaller side of the breed standard, but is well within it.
At the young age of three, after producing two lovely and healthy litters for a total of 16 puppies, Kos has been retired! She will live out the rest of her life with us enjoying being a silly doggo, and romping around the horse farm.
